Description: Moonblind consists of various base stouts aged in Heaven Hill barrels that have slumbered for 14-22 months. Over the last three years we have given ourselves a lot of threads in which to work with. We started working on this blend last Fall, but as we encountered equipment delays, we had to push the release. All that to say, it has been a silver lining as we had a couple barrels come into their own and beautifully fill in layers that we were looking for. There really are no frills behind this beer. We chose complimentary barrels when we set the blend and made sure it hit all the right notes perfectly.
