Description: Kriek is our kettle-soured version of a Belgian-style Fruit Lambic with the addition of Montgomery Tart Cherry from Michigan. The beer presents with a bright red color and fruity, cherry aroma which is followed by a flavor & tartness that evokes memories of eating tart, underripe cherries right off the tree from the family farm's orchard. A hint of residual sweetness from the fruit is balanced by the overall dryness and underlying lactic sourness of the base beer. Cheers.
