Goldihops Wheat IPA | Draught Works

ABV: 6.8%
IBU: 75
Style: IPA - White
Actively Produced
Description: Goldihops Wheat IPA was brewed using over 50% wheat, fermented with German Hefeweizen Ale yeast, and left unfiltered, all of which would qualify it as a hefeweizen according to zee Germans. That’s about where the similarity to hefeweizen ends. This ale’s 75 IBUs all come from El Dorado hops, a first for Draught Works. Named for the famous, fictitious, city of gold, these hops give Goldihops a mild citrus flavor, more like oranges than grapefruit. The relatively cool fermentation temperature gives this ale a slightly spicy/clove-like aroma and flavor.
