Description: Perfect Idjit Tennessee Whisky & Kentucky Bourbon Double Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout A full bodied imperial stout with flavors from dark malts and the perfect amount of hops. Then barrel aged in two different barrel-types. Perfect! This beer's base is our classic imperial stout, Idjit, which started out as an experiment to see how strong a beer we could brew. And even though that experiment never saw the light of day, it taught us a lot. With that knowledge, we created Idjit, a potent and unique true imperial stout loaded with the flavor of tonnes of dark malts and just the right amount of hops. It is black as the night and as smooth as it is powerful. Barrel aging Idjit was always a given. And when we do, it always turns out perfect. This double-barrel-aged version is the third iteration of Perfect Idjit. The best of American whisky and bourbon, infused into our forever stout. And even though we love it, It's not pastry. It's not chocolate sauce. It's not an adjunct bonanza. It's a straightforward, no-nonsense, like back in the day, knock your socks off, malt-cake of a beer. And it's perfect. Adult!
