Description: Always having fun and trying new things, Meloncotté is the result of brewing a Tart Apricot Saison, and then using a hefty dose of our Salted Watermelon Brett Gose to kick-off fermentation. The Gose brings with it loads of watermelon, our four different house Brettanomyces strains, and two Saison strains that give this beer very citrus forward yeast esters with a nice background hay-like brett funk. The aroma initially tells the story of the Gose with notes of watermelon surrounding it, quickly transitioning into an apricot bomb with the first sip. The fruit flavors eventually marry along with the bright yeast and funk notes, giving way to adequate tartness and acidity to create a complex and juicy beast of a Saison.
