Description: Wild Goose Chase is the ninth beer in our Barn Quilt series here at FFG. For beer number nine, we decided to play around with some stone fruit! The beer had its beginnings as a wild ale that had been aging for many months on a combination of peaches and plums. After refermenting to dryness, this beer was then blended with a portion of our funkiest Foeder-fermented saison. The result is a beer that exhibits the soft, lush stone fruit characteristics that you love, while still retaining a layer of deep, musty funk.
