Description: The beer was brewed in collaboration with guest brewer Aaron Bartels. Embrace Fall and grab a pint of this Fresh Hop Butternut Saison. This beer blends a clean, crisp Belgian saison with this season's harvest. Aaron grew a massive butternut squash plant in his backyard. Inspired, the GDBC baked and added twelve pounds of it to a Belgian saison recipe. A dash of experimental hop HBC-342 went in for a light bittering. Five pounds of freshly-picked Newport hops shine through, brightening the beers aroma and flavor with delicate citrus and herbal spice.
