Description: Pours a deep black with a tan head that dissapates. Aromatics are coffee, chocolate, dark fruit and licorice. Taste is coffee, chocolate with undertones of vanilla and finishes a vinous roastiness. As a “Farmhouse” Stout, the yeast was left to do its thing, Destrier is somewhat more attenuated and therefore drier and lighter than a typical English or American Stout, finishing with roasted notes.
