Description: A new entree into our spontaneous beer program, Contact: Riesling takes on a wholly different yet somehow familiar profile to our flagship spontaneous beer, Cold Box Cool Ship. The spontaneous base for Contact was Brewed in February 2019, and had a small portion of young spontaneous beer blended with it after about a year of aging, to add to the complexity and depth, which went on to inspire its journey to become Contact: Riesling. Contact: Riesling leads the way with strong notes of fruit leather, geuzey funk, and cellar must, rounded out by an elegant wine character from spending 5 months of contact time on 167 lbs of Riesling pomace.
