Description: Double Barrel Griffith is a double barrel aged imperial stout. Prior to adding coffee to last year's BA Griffith blend, we re-racked part of the blend into a port barrel we got from Woodinville Whiskey, which they had as a finishing cask to their whiskey. We mixed it up a little and instead of the Ethiopian coffee typically found in Griffith, Greg from Trystero Coffee, selected a Costa Rica coffee. 1st Barreling: mix of Bourbon barrels from Old Forester, Woodford Reserve, and Woodford Reserve Double Oak that we aged the Griffith blend for 12 months. 2nd Barreling: Port barrel that held Woodinville bourbon that we aged the blend for another 11 months.
