Description: Each harvest season, we choose various barrels of our Farmstead® ales that exhibit sympathetic characteristics for pairing with local fruit varieties. Regardless of the base beer blend, the ideal outcome remains the same: a thoughtful, considerate representation of the fruit in season. In this case, we’ve selected a few barrels to complement the 2020 crop of organic Vermont pears from nearby Elmore Roots Nursery, including five different varieties: Stacey, Summercrisp, Luscious, Nova, and Siberian.
