A hearty blend of German Munich and Vienna malt lay the groundwork with notes of toasted bread, malt syrup and a hint of toffee and caramel. At Hops & Grain we tend to over hop just about everything but we kept this batch in check with just a touch of Czech Saaz (see what I did there) and Oregon grown Crystal hops for a touch of spicy and lightly crisp bitterness. Malty enough to know your drinking a Festbier and crisp enough to have you going back for more. Prosit!
