Description: Our first SMaSH Ale used time-honored Willamette hops. This time, we merged old-world, Austrian tradition with radical, American ingenuity, and brewed a stripped-down, single-malt and single-hop ale with Vienna malt and Citra hops. SMaSH Ale–Citra pours soft gold with a rocky white head, loosing tangerine, pineapple and lychee hop aromas. The Vienna malt makes SMaSH Ale immediately sweet up front with slight caramel notes, and lingering biscuit flavor with a medium-light body. Easy-drinking with a satisfying, sweet citrus character, it’s the best of both worlds.
