Description: Nanquim is the first collaboration between a portuguese and a brazilian brewery (LETRA-PT and CEVADA PURA-BR). This Imperial Stout was fermented with cachaça yeast from Brazil, and later added Cocoa seeds from Bahia. Aged for 10 months in Port casks after a earlier stage in casks of a portuguese wine spirit, Nanquim reveals it's a deep black color beer, with a unique sensory complexity. Brewed with water, malts, hops, cachaça yeast and cocoa seeds.
