Description: Letter of Marque is a full-bodied and warming barley wine. An English classic aged on extremely exclusive Rivesaltes wine barrels (French fortified wine) for 6 months. They are produced in almost the same way as port wine, where alcohol is added to stop fermentation. They then sunbathe in open air for two years in glass balloons two years before being matured in oak barrels for decades (up to 80 years !!!).
