Description: Brewed in the style of traditional Czech Pilsners, Chukker is a crisp, easy- drinking offering. Unlike most Czech Pilsners, we actually bitter Chukker with a high-alpha German hop, in order to cut down on the classic notes of freshly cut grass. While this deviates slightly from the expected pilsner taste, it makes Chukker a bit more drinkable, and adds a pleasant, slightly minty bitterness on the backend. Saaz hops do contribute some grassy notes, along with spice, that balances out the taste of toasted bread from the malts, giving this brew a velvety soft mouthfeel.
