Description: What started as a fairly traditional red lager brewed with our friends from Blue Mountain Brewery, Devils Backbone, Starr Hill, Wild Wolf and Blue Mountain Barrel House turned experimental with additions of the difficult-to-acquire Southern Passion variety hop from South Africa. Subtle tropical nose and noticeable tropical flavor contributions from this hop variety lay atop floor-malted Bohemian pilsener malt and CaraRed malt.
